Zhongkeng Waterfall 中坑瀑布 is a nice, small waterfall east of Puli. The creekbed was dry where we parked but the waterfall looked great upstream.
How to get there – Exit Puli on county road 71. Go about 5 km and then turn left (signed 中坑瀑布). Follow this small road another kilometer or so up the creek to a parking area.
The hike – Go up the path a minute and then the trail zigzags at some bathrooms. After that the path is nice for 10 minutes until you reach the creek. Follow the creek upstream for another 10 minutes until you reach the waterfall. You might have to get your shoes wet.
Cost – 100TWD/car and 20TWD/scooter (we got charged 100TWD/person though)
