Minnehaha Falls is probably Minnesota’s most famous and most accessible waterfall. Some of the waterfalls on Lake Superior’s north shore might be more impressive but Minnehaha is a beautiful sight in its own right. The best part is that is located in the center of the Twin Cities near the Minnesota River. The large park has numerous walking and biking trails in addition to many different things to do. The downside is that it is very busy on weekends and it is difficult to find (pay) parking.
