Pura Ulun Danu Bratan is one of the iconic Bali temples. It is located on Lake Bratan in a volcanic crater in the center of Bali. The grounds are impressively maintained and there are a lot of interesting things to check out. It is a really busy temple and it will be hard to take photos without people in them. Luckily the part of the temple above is in the lake and inaccessible.
How to get there – Lake Bratan is on the main road in between Denpasar and Singaraja. It is at the south side of the lake and it is impossible to miss.
What to see – The temple is fairly large with interesting random things to see but everybody goes to see the small temple in the lake (pictured). It is a beautiful setting but it is crowded.
