Niaopu Waterfall is located on the northeast corner of Tsengwen Reservoir. This is an outstanding weekend drive.
The hike – You can see the waterfall from the road and there is a small trail down to the river. It’s a great swimming and relaxing waterfall that is only 50 meters from the road (a little occasional noise).
How to get there – This waterfall is located on the east side of the Tsengwen Reservoir. You can take Hwy from the north or from the south to get to Niaopu waterfall. The road is well maintained in both directions and equally stunning. The waterfall is located directly on Hwy 3 in the northeast corner of the lake at Niaopu 2nd bridge.
Other notes – This waterfall wasn’t named on my map so I named it after the bridge.
